The Sony PS3 Gets Hacked:
"I have read/write access to the entire system memory, and H DV level access to the processor." Hotz wrote on his blog. "In other words, I have hacked the PS3. The rest is just software." 3 years, two months, and 11 days that's a pretty secure system, he added. It took Hotz himself about five weeks to crack/hack the PS3, which he documented on his blog. Although he hasn't revealed what the news could mean in terms of exploits, it sounds as if there is something definitely will be announced sometime soon. "As far as exploits goes, I'll not revealing it yet, Hotz wrote."There is a lot more to come, says Hotz.
The PS3 gets hacked. It looks like Sony's PS3 has finally been hacked into. It took hackers appalled three years to finally hack into Sony's PS3. The famous iPhone hacker George Hotz, a.k.a. GeoHot has become the first hacker to achieve this feat. What this will mean for the PS3 Modding community is unknown.
You can keep up with the project by following Hotz's blog or Twitter.
