KaZaA Speedup, an independent utility program for use with the popular KaZaA file-sharing system, adds a number of time-saving tools and generally ramps up the peer-to-peer experience. Speedup automatically searches for additional sources to maximize bandwidth utilization, then shuts down your computer or hangs up your dialup connection when all your downloads are completed.
Good for grabbing large movie files while you're out of the house, for instance. It also monitors and resumes interrupted downloads and clears aborted transfers automatically. Best of all, it all happens silently and invisibly, in the background, like a discreet English butler. Very good, sir.
