Microsoft Security Essentials: "Security Essentials" is a free anti-virus/malware download that has been available for testing since June, but the latest version posted online this week is the real deal.
Microsoft says that the software will quickly detect most bad viruses and malware without slowing down your Windows computer. The free Security Essentials software also will auto-updates to stay on top of the newest virus threats also including software that can steal your passwords or generate spam e-mails from you computer.
Microsoft Security Essentials free anti- virus and malware software is a good idea. Microsoft should have released it 10 years ago with Windows 98. Better late then never.
