Google Deskbar enables you to search with Google from any application without lifting your fingers from the keyboard. Installs easily in your Windows taskbar. The search results are presented in a small "pane" or window that appears above the taskbar. Clicking on any of these results will launch the webpage within this rather small pane.
Unlike the Google toolbar, the deskbar is integrated into the Windows taskbar at the bottom of your screen. This means that you can actually search the Web without opening your browser.
You can access Google's web, news, image and shopping search directly. There are keyboard shortcuts that let you select the kind of search you want fast.
