The Commodore 64 Lives Again, Sort Of

The Commodore 64 microcomputer wasn’t all things to all people, but it was a lot of things to a lot of people.
Along with the Atari 400 and 800 and Apple II, the C64 brought the personal computer home in the Eighties, and created new diversions for myself and my peers. The diversions were called video games, games crafted with great care and much imagination.
We devoured C64s and the bubbly music that they made, even though the price started out at nearly $600. There were hundreds and hundreds of games, some of them legendary: “International Karate,” “Grand Prix,” and one of my personal favorites, “Murder on the Zinderneuf.” Full Story Here.
