XoloX enables you to exchange any type of files through the Internet with anyone who is online. XoloX combines Napster's ease of use with reliability. Xolox is fast, user-friendly software that enables peer-to-peer file sharing on the Gnutella network.
XoloX is another Gnutella client. There are many other Gnutella clients on the net, such as BearShare, LimeWire and Gnotella, but this one, is quite different. The first thing I noticed about it Xolox is how small the client was - only about 600k. That means you can run this program in the background without eating a load of your memory.
The Search facility is also easy to use, but does lack some detail. You may search for different types of media, such as Audio or Video or whatever, but its disappointing that XoloX doesn't incorporate extra info. Such as the bitrate of MP3s, which BearShare has started to do.
NOTE: MyNapster peer-to-peer network is currently off with no software to download.
Pros: XoloX, one of the best Gnutella client is back! Probably the fastest gnutella client. Easy to use, User friendly, Multi-source downloads for a Gnutella client, Resumable downloads.
