World's Smallest MP3 Player
World's Smallest MP3 Player by HSM: Taiwan's Hsuan Mao Technology Co., Ltd. claims to have the World's Smallest MP3 Player with built-in Li- lon battery. CNA News reported that Hsuan Mao Technology (HSM) will show the World's Smallest MP3 Player at the 2004 Taipei International Electronics Show.
The round pendant style MP3-6610 has a diameter of 40mm and a width of 12.2mm. The EraTech EMP-Z weighs 14.2g the HSM 6610 weighs 17g.
Based on the diameter the new HSM MP3 Player is the World's smallest MP3 Player. Overall, I still would say the coin-sized EraTech EMP-Z is it. There's no price yet: More here!

The iPod mini measures 3.6"x2.0"x0.5"
and weighs 3.6 ounces. The 4GB Flash Drive can store
up to 1,000 songs. iPod
mini has 25 minutes of skip protection and lasts
up to 8 hours on a single battery charge.
The iPod mini automatically synchronizes
with iTunes, Apple's digital music jukebox software,
and stays up to date when it's plugged in.
The backlit screen measures 1.67"
diagonal. The iPod mini features an anodized aluminum
case that resists stains and scratches.
The iPod mini interfaces with Macs or
PCs using its 30-pin interface and either a FireWire
or USB 2.0 cable. It can charge its internal battery
using either USB 2.0 or FireWire as well, and an AC
adapter is also included.
The iPod wheel has now the buttons on
it, compared to the original iPod where the action buttons
are above the wheel. Apple also introduced its own brand
of in-ear headphones suitable for any iPod model. The
new in-ear headphones cost $39.

one of the smallest and coolest looking MP3 player
on the market.
The Gruvstick is loaded with audio features,
for example, the digital volume control offers 32
levels for fine tuning, and also comes with a microphone
so you can recording voice messages.
The two-line LCD is small but has room
for song titles, track info, and dynamic audio levels.
Gruvstick has a full-size USB connector built in so
you can connect directly to your PC and download your
MP3s in to the Gruvstick, about two hours of MP3s.
The Gruvstick also comes with the Mobile
Audio Transmitter (FM Linker), to send sound files
to an unused FM radio frequency. By tuning your home
or car stereo to that frequency, you can play MP3s
wirelessly from the Gruvstick, COOL! The only thing
I don't like is the price $179., but this is one of
the coolest MP3 player. A must have Tech-Toy!
