1. CCleaner: Windows Disk Cleaner tool can only handle so much crap. it need's help. Try using CCleaner, it's free and can do a better job of cleaning off all that Windows crap. Use its CCleaner Registry cleaning tool also.Get it here.
2. Defraggler: Many defrag programs will only let you defrag entire partitions. The Defraggler tool will lets you analyze your hard drive and then pick individual files and folders to defragment. Good if you want to defrag a little. Get it Here.
3. Ultimate Windows Tweaker: Windows XP users has had the TweakUI PowerToy for many years now. Windows Vista users may have been a little jealous but, not any more. Vista users now have a free app Ultimate Windows Tweaker packs with over 130 tweaks into a single 380KB executable file. So tweak away you Vista users.
4. Free Registry Defrag: Registry cleaners only deleting the so-called "problem" entries. Doing that is only half the job anyway, you need to defragment and compact. That is the reason you need to use Free Registry Defrag. Free Registry Defrag won't delete anything from your Windows Registry, but it will defragment and compact the contents of your Registry files so they it will perform faster.
