CopyTo: If your looking to safely back up and synchronize files
between your home and office try this utility. It supports
removable media, including Zip and Jaz; it also has multiple
folder settings for working with various computers on
a network. The program gives you some control in synchronizing
your files, letting you filter certain file types and
exclude specified folders. You can treat files exactly
1 hour apart as equal for daylight savings time. Added
the level "Above Normal" and "Below Normal"
on Process Priority. It also lets you display a preview
window and check for disk space before you start the copying
process.
You can launched from its icon, or from
a right-click context menu in Explorer, or from a DOS
prompt. If want to be big geek you can configure the utility
to play a .wav file when it finishes ;). By using Task
Scheduler, you can schedule tasks (such as Disk Defragmenter)
to run at a time that is most convenient for you. Task
Scheduler starts each time you start Windows, and runs
in the background. With Task Scheduler, you can: Schedule
a task to run daily, weekly, monthly, or at certain times
(such as system startup). The new features in version
V2.6 lets you compress all of a folder's files into one
archive.
