Cool Page is a WYSIWYG Web page design tool
that allows you to create a page simply by dragging and
dropping objects into a layout. Cool Page™ is easy
enough for grandma and the kids, yet powerful enough for
business. By pushing a publish button, you can automatically
upload your site to the Internet. Pages designed with
Cool Page are compatible with Internet Explorer, Netscape,
and the AOL browser. You can export your page to HTML
for publishing or to a corporate intranet, or import into
other Web editors. Cool Page has very good unlimited undo
and redo capabilities that allow you to go back to how
your page looked at any point in the design process.
Version 2.7 adds one-click publish integration
with CoolPageHosting.com (a.k.a. EzHoster.com), and new
free hosting with no ads. All other hosts are still supported.
It also adds EasyCounter, a graphical counter with drag-and-drop
WYSIWYG ease. New EasyCounter styles can be added by simply
dropping images in a digits folder. EasyCounter is the
world's first counter to cache digit images on the client
side for utmost speed and reduced host bandwidth usage.
Also included in version 2.7 are "SWFlets",
which are Flash plug-ins with drag-and-drop functionality,
as well as more WYSIWYG drag-and-drop Java applet plug-ins,
better examples and documentation for making Cool Page
plug-ins, and more.
Note: The free version is fully functional but will display
a splash page at startup that gives you the option to
buy paid versions of this program. I recommend you buy
the full version, so you don't get the splash page!
