Audiogalaxy Satellite is a small
and simple program that allows you to share your music
with friends and other users on Audiogalaxy. Audiogalaxy
Satellite is a real-time, transaction-based file-sharing
system for MP3 users. This program uses a Web-based
interface to let you search for artists, tracks, and
albums, and download the tracks onto your computer.
The client program is small and simple,
designed to use a minimum of CPU and memory resources.
Satellite automatically selects the closest user with
the file you want, reducing external bandwidth usage.
Files currently off-line can also be selected for
download, and once somebody who has the file comes
online, your transfer will begin. If your download
is interrupted, the Satellite Auto-Resume function
will find an alternate user with the same file and
complete the download.
You must download, install, and run
the Audiogalaxy Satellite for the system to work correctly.
In the windows version you will know that the AG Satellite
is running when the Audiogalaxy logo appears on your
system tray (lower right corner of your screen).

Features:
Auto-resuming: Never worry about resuming incomplete
files. Once somebody comes online with the file you
requested your partially downloaded file will automatically
resume even if its not the original person you downloaded
from.
Requesting off-line files: If
nobody is currently sharing the file you want, select
it anyway because once somebody comes online with
that file you will automatically start downloading
it from them.
Bandwidth Reductions: The Audiogalaxy Satellite
is a small lightweight program that uses little CPU
and memory.
